Salary Range

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
Organise and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support lawyers during hearings, meetings, and court proceedings.
Manage schedules, timelines, and deadlines for legal cases.
Liaise with clients, external counsel, and other stakeholders.
Assist in preparing for litigation, including gathering evidence and compiling trial binders.
Skills and Experience
Experience in a legal support or paralegal role within law firms, corporate environments, or government sectors.
Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or AustLII.
Strong understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A diploma or certification in Paralegal Studies or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
