Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.

  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in configuring and managing enterprise networks.

  • Proficiency in network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, or Nagios).

  • Knowledge of network security practices, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent are highly regarded.
