Implement security measures, including firewalls, patches, and updates, to protect systems and data.
Perform regular system audits to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Support end users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations with minimal impact on operations.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and IT strategy.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in managing IT systems, networks, and servers.
Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS.
Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
Ability to automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
